If it was up to us every single day, then we would all have a perfect life, but stuff happens, but it's an imperfect world.

You want to be a citizen of the world, and then life happens, and you forget to be a citizen of the world; you're a citizen of your own existence.

Every teenager, I think, thinks it's the end of the world whenever anything happens, and it's not. You'll get through it. Life will be much more interesting and will certainly be broader when you're older.

Some of you, unfortunately, will never marry in this life. That turns out to be the case sometimes. If that happens, do not spend your life grieving over it. The world still needs your talents. It needs your contribution.

We use fashion for status and to beautify and there's nothing wrong with that, but when it becomes completely unbalanced, then you're living a decadent life. And when that happens on a global scale, you're living in a decadent world.

Bridging the virtual world with the physical word is really when social media channels come to life and the magic happens. Because whoever coined the term 'social media' didn't do us any favors. It's not really media. It's more like the telephone, less like the TV.

As it happens, I have personally been something of an enthusiast for the London Olympic games, mainly on the grounds a) that a bit of wasteland will be made nice and b) that it tends to make everybody happy that their country should be the centre of world attention for a couple of weeks in their life.
