Hey diddle diddle, Ray Rice up the middle.

Sometimes in life, you will get knocked down.

I made a horrendous mistake not apologizing to my wife.

You can be a hero to someone just by being their friend.

I just want to thank [my wife] for loving me where I was weak.

For the first 40 yards I am one of the fastest guys. After that, it's a horse race.

I was taught that I cannot back down to anything. I was trained never to be scared.

I won't call myself a failure. Failure is not getting knocked down. It's not getting up.

I was forced to grow up quicker than most. I was forced to be a young man at a young age.

Mom, thank you. Mr. Palmer, my father I never had, thank you for teaching me what it is to be a man.

I want to be someone that kids in my community look up to and want to strive to give back when they grow up.

I also want to apologize to my fans, to the kids, everyone who's affected by the situation me and my wife are in.

One thing we said as an offense is we want to start games fast ... we want the other team to play catch-up to us.

When I'm running, I'm looking for contact. It's kind of weird. It brings a fire to me. When I get older I'll probably get wise and not do that.

It hurts because I can't go out there and play football, but it hurts more because I have to be a father and explain what happened to my daughter.

We’ll always be grateful for the love we’ve received from all of our fans and supporters, and for winning a Super Bowl. I’ll always be proud to say I played for the Baltimore Ravens.

The game of football really is more cerebral than most people think. To be successful, it takes more than just strength and speed; it takes versatility, intelligence, and ability to think quickly and calmly, to adapt to every situation.

To all the kids who looked up to me, I’m truly sorry for letting you down, but I hope it’s helped you learn that one bad decision can turn your dream into a nightmare. There is no excuse for domestic violence, and I apologize for the horrible mistake I made.
