Giving yourself space and time can actually lead to the birth of more creativity, better creativity, and some of your best work.

I'm constantly taking calls and responding to e-mails at home, and I find it best to have that little work space. And then when you're not at that little space, it's not work anymore.

During the holiday season, it's easy to forget that sometimes the best gift of all is simply the gift of time. I can't think of anything a writer would appreciate more than being given time and space to work.

With Marco Silva, the way he coaches players, he has that knowledge: he wants the best out of you, basically. He wants something out of you all the time, and having seen him work in a short space of time, it's only going to improve.

I think what I like best about, and what keeps me coming back to work in the Hallmark world is similar to what keeps viewers coming back... of all of the places to go to make believe in TV, there has to be one that's a safe space, a happy place.

It's OK to want to look and feel your best. It's OK to work at being attractive, whatever that means to you. And it's also OK to not expect to be defined by that. It's OK to be powerful in every way: to be big, to take up space. To breathe and thrive.

You don't look at the big problem all together, because I think it's a little intimidating. So you just take it one day at a time, meet the people who are going to meet with you, for you, and who you're going to work for, and really try to do the best job that you can. That's all teamwork, and that's what space travel is about.
