I'm going to ride the wave.

Be true to yourself. Never compromise.

I'm an easy date, as someone would say!

I'm just going to continue to do the music that I love.

My fashion secret is "SIMPLE IS BETTER...LESS IS MORE."

I'm a simple girl. I just like the simple things in life.

I'm a cheap date! I don't do what the average these days so.

I'm chillin in my sweats and sneakers and t-shirt. I can do that all day.

I enjoy just being around my family and my loved ones. It's just the simple things.

I was never the one that really wanted to be a solo artist, I was always in groups.

I don't get tied to the music industry where you have to be on social media all day.

Don't let the clothes or anyone define you...just be yourself whether in a pair of jeans or a ball gown.

I don't want to try to do music or satisfy anyone else's ears; it has to come from here first and what I love.

I grew up in the church, singing in choirs, and I went to a performing arts school, and I had a gospel group, so music has always been in my blood.

At some points I wanted to give up on music still, because the business is just as bad as it was when I left in 2005. But I'm learning that I have purpose to be here.

I wanted to be in my daughter's life, and I decided I didn't want to do music anymore because I was compromising myself too much and I wasn't loving what I was doing.

The message I wanted to deliver to those battling with depression is to know that they are not the only ones, it is not easy, but you can come out of it and help someone else.

The advice I would give would be to know that it's ok and natural to be nervous. The key is to rehearse, always be yourself and don't be afraid to not be perfect as we all make mistakes.
