For me, life is a bowl of cherries.

For me life is a challenge. And it will be a challenge if I live to be 100 or if I get to be a trillionaire.

One of the most cherished photographs in my life is a picture of me with John Lennon - who I met back in 1971 at an anti-war rally.

Michael Bisping's whole life is a film scene. He's always acting. Confronting me at UFC 213, it makes me laugh. It's a bit clownish.

For me, in some ways, my whole life is a bit performative and always has been - because I'm stared at and looked at everywhere I go.

The thing is, my life is a country song. I don't need to be manufactured, and I don't need anyone to tell me what to say or what to sing.

I sometimes think that life is a circle. See, I cannot get away from genius. At Barca, I had Messi. At Juve, I have Paulo Dybala. Genius follows me everywhere, I swear.

But in answer to your question about the conspiracy angle, I think that any historian worth his salt, and this is where I fault Stephen Ambrose and a lot of these guys who attack me - not all of life is a result of conspiracy by any means! Accident occurs alongside conspiracy.

I think that idea that sort of our emotional self and our emotional life is a faucet that you turn on and off, and that we are in control of it entirely, that's a really appealing idea for a lot of people. But there are certainly the times where it's appealing to me, but it never quite works the way I hoped it would.
