I love turning on the computer in the morning and reading the things that I did the day before - that I didn't do!

I, of course, meditate for two hours every morning. It's part of my schedule; I wake up at 4 a.m. every day and I love it.

It's a tremendous amount of fans in France that love basketball, that follow it every day even though the games are at like two or three in the morning.

Be it gym or yoga, I love it all. I start my day with it and it has to be at least for an hour and a half each morning. Even when I am holidaying, I stick to this regime.

I do love my full English breakfast, but not every day. What I can't do without first thing in the morning, though, is my Danish pastry or a croissant - anything with a laminated dough, enriched with butter to make it beautifully golden and flaky.

I love playing 'Madame Vastra.' Although I do suffer, spending three-and-a-half hours in make-up every morning to have her lizard skin put on. I was so excited the first day when we did the make-up test, but after six hours, I was like, 'Can we finish now?'

The trick is falling in love with something enough, and being excited enough by something, to want to make that year and a half or two year commitment and wake up every morning at 5 to go deal with a whole day full of problems to get it up on the screen. You really need passion.

I think we have all got to keep active - if we don't we will just seize up and, you know, we won't be able to get out of bed in the morning. It doesn't matter what it is, 10 minutes or 20 minutes, it just starts off the day and I do a sort of combination: a bit of Silver Swans and a bit of pilates and a lot of walking, which I love.
