With time, everything changes. I know I'm not the same person who I used to be. I totally get that.

Whether you know Jack Ryan or you don't know Jack Ryan, he's a compelling person to spend time with.

I think it's very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.

I don't think there's ever an inappropriate time to laugh! I'm a curious person. So if someone laughs, I want to know why.

I don't think I know a single person who's a minority who hasn't experienced some form of discrimination at one time or another.

Things happen so quickly. We don't have time for one person to tell everybody what to do. Everybody needs to know what to do in those situations.

I have sane friends, solvent friends, foodie friends, and friends who can take time off in the week, but I don't know one single person who ticks all those boxes.

I'd say that, 99 percent of the time at Nevada, I knew what the coverage was and where I was probably going before the ball was snapped. It makes it very easy when I only had to read one person and know that I was going from here to here, and if not, I'm checking it down.

The nice thing about a series is you can end on cliffhangers all the time. You can be like, 'You know what? Here we go, this person just died, end of book.' And with the end of the series, you're very conscious of all the plotlines that were left hanging. There's a balance there to wrap those up but still leave it exciting.
