In this business, believing in your work, being patient and consistent always pays off.

There's always a knee-jerk reaction in our business to analyze and determine why something didn't work.

I've always strived to keep mixing it up, keep doing different things, and work in all different parts of our business.

I still work hard to know my business. I'm continuously looking for ways to improve all my companies, and I'm always selling. Always.

My dad was a man of integrity who taught me to always do the right thing even when nobody is watching. He ran a trucking company, and watching how he operated his business instilled a drive and work ethic that stuck with me.

I used to work for a management consulting company, so I dressed differently - business casual, probably a lot of things from Banana Republic. My wardrobe now is definitely more expensive, but I always dress for the occasion.

There are no right and wrong ways to work in this business, but there are some basic common-sense practices. Work very, very hard and always be prepared; never give up; and once you get the job, give them more than they ever expected: - Shine!

When I've gone back to work, it's always with that sense of inevitability. That may be a complete delusion, but it's the one that I need to get out of bed and go about my business. That sense that I can't avoid this thing. I better just get on with it.
