In America, people come up to me and say, 'Hi, Sir Humph!'

I like America, and I think probably the American people like me.

Not too many people in America know about me, but all of Europe knows about me.

A lot of people in America don't know me, and that's something I have to overcome.

The third biggest comic people in America want to make a comic book out of me. It's unbelievable.

I think America needs lots of tough people. Not just me. I think America needs to get tougher, all of us.

I've played matches in Mexico, Canada and the United States. The people of North America have always welcomed me.

When I saw the generosity of spirit of the people who live in America and their willingness to give second chances, it had a very wonderful effect on me.

Nobody's ever called me Sir Richard. Occasionally in America, I hear people saying Sir Richard and think there's some Shakespearean play taking place. But nowhere else anyway.

I got a little bit used to people stopping me in the street with 'V,' at least in America. Not that I think you ever really get used to it. It will always be a shock to be recognised for anything.

'Naked' propelled me into a whole other league. America started calling. I went over to Los Angeles and met all those people, and I started doing a few American films of various levels of quality.

NBC had a show called 'The Toughest Bouncer in America' that I did. But I told them I didn't like that term, 'bouncer.' To me, it's offensive. A bouncer likes to get physical, likes to put his hands on people.

There's no lack of writers writing novels in America, about America. Therefore, it seems to me it would be wasteful for me to add to that huge number of people writing here when there are so few people writing about somewhere else.

I've had people say to me, 'How dare you have a Twitter,' you know, with my gimmick, I guess, and I just say, 'It's 2017.' It'd be hard to find someone in America who doesn't have a phone that has Twitter capabilities. So as a WWE Superstar, I think it's OK that I have a Twitter, people.

I've ended up on some website list or some other list for super right-wing people. They've been tweeting some pretty rude stuff at me, so I think there's a sect of America out there that doesn't like certain opinions and can really take their claws out when they don't like what you're saying.
